hi. Newbie question here. I was looking at a beomaster 4500 at a local audio store- it comes with a Beolink (I think) 1000 remote and somehow between the two of these I don't see any settings or a way to change tone bass treble balance.
The only system I'm really familiar with is my beomaster 1900 which has all of these controls hidden under the hood/cover. But the 4500 doesn't have a hood like that so I'm basically at a loss. There is a sound button on the remote that lights "sound" on the console when pressed but after that - adjusting bass for example - is a mystery. After an hour spent on Google finding nothing(!?) the answer must be so obvious that it's not worth mentioning on any forum -- someone care to enlighten me?
Thank you :)
Press sound on the Beolink 1000 - without one in front of me I cannot remember the order - but by pressing sound repeatedly you cycle through treble, bass, balance and possibly loudness. You change the setting using the arrow keys and I think you will see the relevant setting appear on the display of the Beomaster. To store settings, press Store .

Alternatively:
Just press 'Sound' on the touchdisplay of the master, and cycle through untill you have choosen the settings you need (using the up/down arrows). Then Store.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Just as a matter of interest, what sources are you planning to use with the 4500?
. It will be aux only connected to spotify HD. Not the best but I'm not a purist any more. Just like to have music around the house all the time. Speaking of around the house. If I wire a scone set of speakers, where is the switch to select speakers A versus B?
So obvious on the 1900 so not on the 4500?

There is no A/B Switch available, what you can do is either :
1 : Connect speakers to both speaker socket 1 and 2. Socket 2 will ALWAYS be on, and speaker 1 will be controlled via the MUTE button.
2 : Connect a MCL2A box via a MCL cable to speaker 2, and place that box including the IR receiver in your secondary room, you can serial connect more of these boxes to other rooms, up to a maximum of 7 rooms, more rooms will need an expander.
