Dear all,
I've found it hard to connect my Beolab 12-2 in the bedroom to my Yamaha receiver. As a start i have build a mini-jack to RJ45 and this works fine. (Extremely low hiss)
Now i'm trying to connect the beolab's to the pre-outs of my receiver. At any attempt i get an enormous humm. The second try was using a RCA cable connected to a wallmount -female RJ45 dock. And using a RJ45 cat6 to the speaker itself.
The cat6 cable alone gives no hiss, connected to the dock gives little difference. When i connect the receiver > RCA > DOCK > RJ45 > CAT6 > Beolab is where get enormous hiss.
Obviously the receiver is to blame, but what to check or fix?
Fun-Fact, the receiver is connected to an Sony NX720 series and are controlled by an Arduino which is in turn controlled by a Beo4. (Also does RF commands for light). All other sources where disconnected. Does anyone have a proper pin-out diagram?
