From what I understood, there is no small BeoVision produced anymore... Will B&O launch new 32" models once the V1-32 will be sold out or will they only offer bigger sizes? A 32" Avant would be amazing for kitchen or a small bedroom or for people like me who don't really want a big screen.

I hear you ! I am considering a 7 40 for this reason.

I doubt if B&O would offer a 32 at all anymore. As much as many beoworlders romanticise that they should offer tvs of all sizes in reality (as shown) not many people purchase them and it's not economically viable.

I read a quote

“Rich people have small TVs and big libraries, and poor people have small libraries and big TVs.”

Beo Century ,Beoplay V1, Beocenter 6, Ex-Beolit 12, Beotime , A8. Beolit 15 , Form 2i , Beolab 2000, Beoplay A3.Beosound 1

Bought a V1-32" some months ago -  although I am poor...and have a big library.

I guess I don't fit in 😉

V1-32 you can tell if it is open for matrix or have to buy the code?

I'm not sure ”poor" only refers to ones financial position in the quote !

You always have to pay for the 'Matrix code' .

It makes sense to me and would meet my lifestyle, due the age of my house, furniture and layout my main viewing room can not take more than 32"/40". Then I have my kitchen, dinning room and spare bedrooms.

Or am I the only person who cannot accommodate one or more 55"

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Yes Mark, but this is about the 32 inch model.

40 is a good size, especially for many rooms such as a bedroom.  A 55 inch in many small rooms is rather gauche.  I tried a 32 in my bedroom but ultimately went with a 40.

I know a lot of people scorn that a bedroom should never have a television because of electronic sources in the bedroom, but i like it.

Well, I have a big TV (65 inch) and a large library, even a dedicated room for it. And if you count my electronic books, a gobsmackingly big library. Stick out tongue

It's hard to get a 32 inch decent set as it seems to be a size not many want, so many panel makers seem to be dropping that size. Which is too bad as it's a perfect small room or bedroom set. I don't have anything in the bedroom electronics wise except my Beotime and a Beolab 2000 link room speaker setup. I used to have one of the small Philips tube sets, the sexy one with a built in analog clock and translucent plastic feet that acted like a night light, but found I never used it so away it went to make the room less cluttered.

Jeff

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
