My daughter has been using a Beosound 3000 with Beolab 2500 speakers for several years.  About a month ago, the BS3000 quit working.  The red standby light is on and the CD clamper will open and close, but that is it.  I am hoping for an easy fix.  Any clue here?  It will not repond to the remote and it will not respond to the controls on the unit. It has been unplugged for hours to automatically reset, etc.   Anyone have any thoughts?  or is this one that gets to make a trip to the Beoshop?  There are none close so I have to ship it and I hate to ship my B&O stuff.

By the way.  Over 10 years of collecting B&O, this is the first piece that has gone bad.  Any others I bought with issued then fixed, but never has mine gone bad.

Thanks, Michael in Owasso, OK

My main system is a BS900 w KEF 104.2 (2 MCL 2P amps) and hs been sounding great for 6 years.

I just spoke with B&O in Kansas City, Missouri.  Kirk said that it is one of two logic boards.  Easily fixable by a B&O tech.  I am shipping it out tomorrow.

Sorry, I missed your post.  Yes, the replaced logic board fixed it good as new.  Love the BS3000.  Probably my favorite piece of equipment.

How do you change the logic board?
