Thinking about buying an mede8er mediaplayer to connect to my bv11. Anyone knows if these models are supported like med600x3d or others in the puc list ?
And second : good idea to connect through synology ds213 and bv11 or is a dune a better choice ?

it is probably using the same codes as the other one.
I would have to look for it - but can't just right now.
As for your second question: I don't know!
I did not (even if I usually claim to know a lot of these small boxes) know that one - so thanks for mentioning it.
As usual it depends on what you want to use it for - personally I am quite content with the media-player/-renderer of the new BV's, and the AppleTV-box/AirPlay for the rest.
If no other member knows it, I guess you will have to give it a try
...and tell us if it is good.
P.S. A good NAS like the Synology is a must nowaday (unless you go all in on music- and video-services).

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Mede8er MED600X is on the PUC list.
On the list there are also: TVIX, Dune, Popcorn, WD (Live), Apple.
I recently bought a WD Live TV. This is a small and cheap mediaplayer which surprisingly has a lot of app's. Youtube and Deezer are among them.
At the moment I use a DVICO TVIX 3DS2, which is a 4K mediaplayer. I stream my movies from a NAS for several years now. Main thing is that it demands a better and faster network for bigger files, like eg. BluRay with sizes like 25 GB and bigger. For the average files streaming will be no problem.
It shouldn't make a difference if the content is on the harddrive or via the network, shouldn't it?

Typical, till a few weeks ago it was listed for € 150,- (easter discount)
Youtube worked before the update (probably I'm the only one who has problems with it) and Internet works. But to my experience it doesn't work as flawless as it should be (the apps).
Streaming Full HD content (BluRay's work perfect through gigabit network, although the 3DS2 has a 100MB connection)
