I want to get a Beoplay V1 40....

As front speakers I want to use my Beolab 8000 (connection available ??)

For rear speakers I would need a wireless type to avoid the cables ???

Thank you for suggestions.

My questions are

- are there connections for Beolab 8000 available (should be my front speakers9

- for rear speakers I need a wireless solution

the whole thing should end up in a "surround" setup

The V1-40 has 3 PowerLink ports - each with two outputs.

Means you can connect up to 5 speakers.

If you use the internal speaker(s) as a center, you can built a 5.1 system with ease.

If you need wireless connections (for your rears), you will have to buy the optional IWS Transmitter, since the V1 does not have wireless speaker connection built-in.

If you choose newer (WiSA compatible) speakers for rears, you are good to go then - if you use older BeoLab's, you will have to buy the wireless receivers too.

Gruss MM

I agree with MM that it seems as easy as attaching your 8000s by power link as front speakers and then a WISA transmitter and a receiver with a power link to drive your rears.

But what rears are you planning to use ?

What connection to your existing audio gear would you like to have ?

EG: do you want to keep playing CDs etc to your 8000s ?

From your extensive list of systems and speakers it is not clear how many connected link rooms you have.

It even looks like you have established independent States rather than United Europe Stick out tongue

So part of the recommendation should take into account where you want your system to be in 2 years time - the same with no more changes ? Or are you planning additional investments ?

For example you might benefit from a Playmaker like MM has Big Smile

BeoNut since '75
