Hello all Beophiles! I recently was lucky enough to find an Ouverture with 2500 speakers at my local car boot sale for the princely sum of 15 UK pounds.... In excellent physical condition - only issue one door had become detached, and the tape deck was u/s. Glued the door back in position, got a new belt for the tape deck, so far so good. It sounds phenomenal for such a compact system! CD and radio work fine, but.... I seem to have an intermittent issue with the top row of keypad buttons. All but the extreme left button (record) only work intermittently - so pause, return, 1, 6, radio, CD, load sometimes don't work at all... I'm thinking dry joint somewhere or poor keypad connections, but does anyone have any experience of this particular issue...? All the other keypad buttons work fine...Steve

This is quite common with these units, but a keyboard repair kit is still available from B&O.You have to break open the original assembly,so new fixings are included with the kit.

Not sure of the part No,but if you order with the original No,the system should convert it OK.

Regards,

Nick

You can get the part from here for about £35.  Speak to Simon.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied! I've spoken to AVA Services, very helpful, part ordered and I should have it in about a week. Many thanks to all for your help. Steve

...to finish this off, the Ouverture is finished, working beautifully, and has pride of place in my new dining room. Now, to start on that 900K I just acquired....Smile
