My Beovision 11 is about three months old. Recently, human voice reproduction has become very sharp with any high pitched voice tones accentuated almost with a "hiss" background noise. This particularly happens with female voice tones. I'm sure the B11 didn't do this when I first had it. I've noticed two online updates come in a couple of weeks ago which I think coincide with the clashing noise but I might be wrong. Has anyone any thoughts on this please ? (It's most noticeable with older programmes but it even happens with live news broadcasts)

Check different sources (DVD player?) and tuners if possible and also check all connections. Once you know whether it is a particular tuner problem, or a problem with all sources, contact your dealer.

i haven't noticed any particular sound issues after the last updates with my BV11.

Thanks - I'm not using a DVD player. I've checked Sound Modes, default seems to be "Movie". I changed that to "Custom" but it still produces the hissing echo tone. I tried toning treble down and bass up but no difference. All this is when viewing on "Sky" in DTV mode. I haven't tried basic TV mode but will do so in case the problem is Sky related. I don't know how to check if it is a "tuner problem".

If you have a Freeview/ terrestrial aerial then checking that should indicate whether it is a tuner or Sky problem rather than elsewhere in the TV. As the TV is only three months old I would get back to your dealer, but only after eliminating the obvious possible external problem sources.
