I found these speakers for sale for 100 USD, they sound good and are in OK condition. Does anyone have any recommendation? I will hook them up to an Akai AM 2200 amp.

What are the reputation of these classic speakers?

Thank you!

I could be tempted to ask you, what YOU think of them ?

My opinion is that Beovox 2400 is a nice, 3-way classic speaker from the late 1960's.
It sounds fabulous with a contemporary receiver/amplifier and still
more warm and pleasant with a modern amplifier than most modern speakers.
I generally dislike the sterile sound coming from most modern speakers. Linearity and pretty figures
on paper means less to me than pleasant sound. Others will disagree, I'm sure.
Their power rating is not very high but they will take quite an amount of action and as long as
the sound is clear and undistorted they'll be fine.
It was a popular model and many are still in daily use but the 1960's speakers are slowly but certainly
getting scarce so all good condition 60s B&O speakers are definitely worth keeping and/or caring for.

You can see another pair here (some of mine actually);

and as you can see, we could use an owners review...
