Here's some pictures of my recently acquired BM1900 and BG6002. Ive spent quite a while cleaning them and the result is great. I used Novos 3-stage scratch removal liquid for the dust cover lid and a lambswool polishing bonnet on an electric drill (as it was very scratched) now only the faintest ones remain and its almost as new. I cleaned the aluminium with a 'magic sponge' and then used a tiny amount of baby oil and worked into the direction of the 'grain' of the aluminium and polished it out. The Pallisander timber, I used wire wool and then orange oil, again just a tiny amount. The black bits, well they respond well to a car product - a dashboard silicon polish, but all used in tiny quantities. Who would have thought this lot over 30 years old, in fact the BM is from about 1976 so its getting on for forty now!!
Good job, looks fantastic!

I've got lots of pictures, but not sure the best way to upload them on this site in any quantity so folk can have a look!? Any Hints ?!
Lots of pictures you said :-)
You managed to do this one, so why not all the others?
