Hi, It is possible to update the remote control yourself if you have the software (Configuration Tool) . The biggest problem is that you will have to start over with the programming as you cannot get your current setup from the remote onto your PC unless the person who programmed it originally can provide you with the file. You can only send from the PC to the remote.

There are also issues with which version on the programming software works with various 32bit and 64bit windows versions and the Beo5.

I don't know much about AppleTV but so long as it is controlled by IR the Beo5 can be programmed to control it. I have seen AppleTV on my Configuration Tool. It will likely use a PUC cable from your TV.

A search regarding programming on the forum will tell you all you need to know.

I meant to add that you need to ensure that you "unpair" the AppleTV from all remotes to allow the Beo5 to control it once you update the Beo5.
