Just connecting up to a non b&o tv and wondering do I set the beolab 3's to line or left and right or doesn't it matter

I've read the manual for connecting the beolab3s you should set both of them to line.

Set them both to "LINE" as the source output jacks will be the ones determining what is "L" and "R" in that case. Powerlink carries both signals, hence the switch.

Ok thanks I'm running them with left and right at the min and seem fine will line make a difference or not as had these on line when I was using an apple airplay express thing but now beings it's connected via the sub (beolab 2) I thought left and right would be the way to set them, if this is not the case I will change over to line later :)
