We are currently moving back to the US after about 4 yrs away. Locked away in storage is our old beosystem 1 + 50in plasma, beosound 9000, beolab 8000's, beolab 6000's, old Avant, and a host of passive amps for extra room and outdoor speakers. I had everything master linked throughout the house and it worked quite well.

Now, the beosystem 1 was a bit dodgy at times and I'm using it as a good excuse to consider an upgrade to the new Avant 55. It looks like a great set with everything integrated, new technology, etc. but am I going to have trouble with using my existing speakers and other kit? It looks like I need a NL/ML converter, but what else might I need?

Also, should I consider the beovision 11 or 12? Thoughts?

Thanks!

Good to hear you are getting back to your B&O.

Which television is a hard call, they all have their merits. I know what I want but thats dictated by my space available. Perhaps you should wait and see what you can get in the US.

Beosound 9000s do not always respond well left unused for that long of a time but the speakers should be fine.

Lets know how it goes and what BV you do get.
