It's the BeoWorld Summer 2014 Prize Draw in 15 Minutes – so slap both thighs with alternate hands and shout "HOWDY PRIZES!!" - and look lively!  You don’t want to miss the draw do you? Yes – YOU !!

I'm sitting lazily yet ever so gracefully in my Roche Bobois lounge chair waiting to drop my finger effortlessly on the prize-giving-button, thus bestowing amazing goodies upon some lucky winners… BeoWorld.. far too generous I tell you.  In fact, i tell you this every single month!

PS - My circuits have added ALL members who were members on 30th June but are not renewed.  There are 6 of you....

Anyway – you’ve got 15 minutes to get the jobs done…  go, go, GO !!!

I have been trying to convince my partner that she would really enjoy her (non-B&O) TV much more with a pair of BL6000s - without much success. I'm sure she wouldn't refuse a prize win, though!

Good luck, everyone

Get the kettle on, crack open a beer, pour a glass of wine, lick the dust from the inside of the screen of your new BeoVision Avant and shout at the moon, wave your arms at passing motorists pointing to a printout of First Prize this month then explain calmly why they should be Gold Members, then set fire to your jumper in a health and safety conscious manner …

Whatever.. the draw is imminent and you never read these funnies anyway - hurry up !!.

I’ve just drawn the names and matched them up to the Prizes – so could YOU be one of our lucky winners tonight??  Chances are, you are..

Anyone fancy a lovely BeoWorld Prize?  Botty is here in your very own BeoWorld HQ and is ready to log into his UPS control panel and print some shipping labels.  It's that time again when you all think to yourselves 'How do they manage to do it?' whilst you look at the prizes being given away. Well, i've no idea - really.  No, really... I've no idea.

For £2.50 a Month, YOU can win any of these - every month.  You'll also be supporting the best site on the internet too !!

Back in a few moments - I'm just going to have a shot of Shell V-Power to calm the tension...

Okay Ladies and Gentlemen.. a draw will now be commencing, right here and now!  I'm absolutely thrilled to see so many people here tonight in order to see me. I'm sure you're not here for the prizes. Meh… who am i kidding..   Anyway….

10th Prize - A Bang & Olufsen official Baselball Cap plus a BeoWorld Mousemat & Coaster Set

Don't you just hate it when the light is streaming through the windows when you're trying to navigate your favourite website (BeoWorld of course..) on the laptop or computer? Well, how about a lovely B&O Dealer baseball cap to pop on your head and shade your eyes? Oh... go on then, it's yours! Also, you can throw away that scruffy old mousemat - because we're also going to give you a shiny new BeoWorld Official Mouse Mat and Coaster Set. All yours if you win 10th this month.

Tonights first winner is..

Mr B. van Loon (Bertje) from s.Heerenhoek, Netherlands

Very nice indeed - well done!

BL6000 is a waste for " non-Beo" TVs and -btw- I need them for our BV10-32 room with wall brackets .....:-)

9th Prize - Bang & Olufsen (The Crowood Collectors Series)

Here we have THE reference book for B&O. Written (and specially hand signed) by BeoWorld's friends Nick and Tim Jarman (owners of the brilliant Beocentral website) this book introduces the world of Bang & Olufsen, from the futuristic audio and hi-fi systems to the elegant television sets and attractive portable models which have captivated enthusiasts for the best part of four decades. As we all know, Bang & Olufsen have striven to design items that stand the test of time, being both technologically innovative and stylish - so find out 'the ones to have' and 'the ones to avoid' as far as collecting goes in this very book!

The winner is…

Mr T. Prodenius (topr) from Rydsgard, Sweden

Jolly well done to you - happy reading!

6th Prize - Flexible Firm : The Design of Culture at B&O

Here we have a superb read - and a VERY expensive book indeed (RRP is £75 / €95 / $130 !!). It's called "Flexible Firm: The Design of Culture at Bang & Olufsen" and is written by Jakob Krause-Jensen. Jakob Krause-Jensen is an anthropologist and Associate Professor at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University. His research focuses on the way ethnographic methods and anthropological theory can be used to understand organizations and the life within them in critical and creative ways. This really is 322 pages of very interesting theory, study and evaluation of Bang & Olufsen as company, an organisation and a brand. Fascinating reading - and yours to keep if you win sixth!

The Winner is...

Mr J. Verhaeghe (easyJan) from Hoegaarden, Belgium

Congratulations from all at BeoWorld and Happy Reading! Cherish it - it's an investment piece judging by the cover price!! Surprise
