From my experience, the A9 keyring remote is only able to switch off the B&O linked one by one...

For example, if I push the general switch off button in direction of a Beolab 2000 (I have 3 in different rooms), the remote switch off THIS SPEAKER and nor the Beosound linked neither other speaker.

Anyone knows if there is a possibility to switch off ALL the system Beolinked with this remote (like the red button of the Beo4 if we push it for 2 seconds) or if it's not possible at all?

From memory you should be able to press and hold the middle dot and this will turn off all sources.

Press and hold "Audio" works for me - this turns off the audiomaster and all speakers in my setup (although I have lots of legacy equipment on Master Control Link)

For me it doesn't works like this. If I press and hold the audio button of the A9 in front of the speaker, it's turning off this one but the audiomaster is always on. I have to press once more in direction of the Beosound for completely turn off the system.

My Beolink is connected with a Master Link distribution box. The central unit is linked with Powerlink speakers and I have 3 Beolab 2000 in other rooms. What you describe (press and hold) works for me with the red button of the Beo4 remote, but not with the A9 audio button... And my keyring is new from an old stock of an official B&O saler and not a used item from eBay...

Maybe there is some conflict with the "option" of the active speakers, because I'm in option 6 (different rooms) for them but there is no doors between the rooms and the hall. And I don't like the option 4 (same room with distance or angles) because in this way there is less autonomous between the audiomaster and the speakers.

Anyway, thanks for your answer.

Have you tried a long hold on the middle of the kering?

I wonder if there might be a difference between the two versions. The first version would use long presses. However, this was a problem with battery life when inadvertently pressing the buttons while it was in one's pocket. The newer version limited the duration of the button presses in order to save battery life.

Yes I tried a VERY long hold, but doesn't work! It's only turning off the speaker in direct front of the remote but not the rest of the Masterlink system.

Maybe I can try to change the battery, because it's a new remote from a B&O seller, but was sold with the battery installed inside and maybe it's an old one...
