Hi everyone? Question about beolab 18s? Do they look better on floor bases or wall brackets? Any known advantages or disadvantages? Pics? Also anyone's bought black or white lamellas?
thanks in advance.

Tough call , but I think they can be "tidier" if wall mounted as the cables are not ever seen. Also easier to hoover/brush floor.
Can your walls support them is probably the first question.
Floor bases all day. They look hideous on wall brackets IMO.
Regarding the cable issue; that's why you have the thick rubber tubes like the ones that came with the 8000s.

Hi gmittal,
I think they look good on walls brackets, but it's more flexible positioning wise on the floor stand and I think looks better! I have the white 18's, they look great in my room, but depends on you decor I suppose. Either way they are great speakers, so go for what you think and enjoy!
Thank you all for your opinions. To answer your question Mr. Valve, yes my walls can support the speakers very easily.
These speakers are to go with a BV11-55" that I have in my lounge. The BV 11-55" is on a wall bracket. Currently I've ordered my speakers with wall brackets, but now I'm having second thoughts even though I do think that the wall brackets are quite suave. I am thinking that with the floor base one would be able to see the back of the speaker better which would also add to the beauty. But just in case, if I do decide to stick with the wall brackets, could someone advise me what should be the height of the speakers vis a vis the TV (for placement purposes). Also, how stable is the floor base - as in if someone accidentally bumped into one of the speakers, would it fall easily? Also if anyone has pictures to share, that would be great.
thanks.
double, sorry

tried them first for two weeks on the base. then desided to use the wall brackets. imo this is much better.
note: with wifi connected to a bv11 you do not need the thick rubber tubes, because you will have only the mains connected
