Hi

Would any of the current Avant owners be able to advise me please if they have managed to play a VOB file connected to a USB hard drive?

IE a VOB file that you have copied and pasted from a DVD to a USB hard drive.

Thanks in advance.

Michael.

Since VOB are a strict subset of MPEG files, you might try to rename them to .mpg.

Mileage might vary, but apparently there are some success stories out there :)

I would also appreciate feedback what sources avant owners use with their TV.

Are you using bluray, apple TV?  How do you use catch up services?  Foxtel / sky hd?
