I finally got my BeoLab surround sound system hooked up. I have (2) BL5 for the front, (2) BL3 for back, and a BL7-4 as the center. I'm using an Integra DHC-80.3 preamp processor.
This afternoon, I was able to install the BL 3's on my home-made stands and make the necessary wires to get the signals to the speakers. I made sure that the system wasn't looking for a subwoofer and ran Audyssey at (3) microphone locations on the back of the couch (I didn't want to go all out in case I made some changes).
I then put in the Blue Man Group Audio DVD-A (purchased several years ago). It now feels like the poured concrete basement floor is vibrating! This is my first experience with any home surround sound. Now I know what everyone is talking about.
Now I just need to get (2) more BL3 speakers so I can have a 7.0 system.....

olvisab:Hi great set up. If you have too much vibration on the floor, maybe the calibration process has reached its limits. It is really hard to avoid them completely but they can be limited a lot.

Maybe I can use them at demolition sites to break up concrete without those annoying jackhammers! I just need a long extension cord!
