Just picked up the above unit.  Question: Is there a way to hook up a CD player and/or MP3 player?

Hi you need an rca to 5 pin din lead. Plug the 5 pin end into the front aux input on the BC 7000 and press P1. This overrides the radio. I have a friend with this exact set up.

Thanks, I hadn't noticed that.  Mine has 2 X 5 pin dins, 1 is mic and one is tape in.  Can I still press P1?

Hi.

Use the tape in. Then press P1. I think mic is used for just that- a microphone of some description and possibly has a different impedance.
