Hi All,

Picked up a couple of speakers today! They are perfect, very happy with them... However can't find information on them, they look identical to the Type: S 607, but they are marked "Type: SD". Does anyone know anything about these SD versions, are they different to the S 607?

Very much so! Love the 608 amplifier as well. I use Type L speakers with a 610.

A really lovely set up!

Thanks guys! These speakers sound great, really surprised with their good condition, as they where really cheap with poor description :)

Lets hope Martin can help me out here :)

No, I didn't buy them. It is almost imposible to buy something at Lauritz because the shipping costs to foreign countries are extreme expensive. I ma visiting occasional this auction house web page because they have occasionally some very rare B&O items.

And this pair specialy was not so nice to want them in collection. But I am always happy to learn something new about vintage B&O...

I read that B&O S 607 had B&O developed TV 160 KINO woofer, but this one is a Hroswitha, it has "275/165 TV 160S" (from what i can see) on them....

Martin.... come in please Big Smile

I am going to stick my neck out and say that both the alleged B&O own production woofer Kino 160TV and the one in this thread are in reality Seas woofers, although with different magnets.

Who proves I'm wrong?

Martin (dillen) could provide more information for sure but he is absent from forum since few weeks.

Any news about him? I never saw him not posting so long ...
