Connecting Beomedia 1 to Beoplayer

Hi 

I have read the guide on the Beomedia 1 and it suggests that you install Beoplayer and click on the button if you own a Beomedia 1.  On the versions from 2 to 4.61 and 5.04 this box doesn't appear after I have downloaded.  Now last time I did this it worked perfectly now I can't link the two so I can upload CDs and Photos.

I am sure this is an easy fix, I wonder if after uninstalling Beomedia it leaves some files behind which prevents  me from adding Beomedia info and IP address.
