I have had a Beogram 5005/5921 [serial no 3250104] since new, it is only used occasionally, but has now stopped working altogether! The arm doesn't move across the record, the turntable does not turn, and I can hear a click click click as though an electronic switch is try to start the platter and tone arm.

Do you know whether they fairly easy to open up and have a look? Or could you send me a link? Might it be drive bands, and if so does anybody know where they can be purchased? Many thanks.

It's easy to check the drive belts. Just lift off the platter and plastic sub platter. You should be able to see the drive belt for the platter starting on the left, and the drive for the tone arm in the rear. You can PM Martin "Dillen" on this forum for the correct belts.
