Hi Folks

Newby here with no knowledge or understanding of B&O products apart from what I've gleaned off this and other forums.

We'd quite like an encore for the house, as it looks great, we already have our entire CD / download collection saved to PC hard drive and we fancy something a bit different.

I'm quite sold on the idea of buying a used or ex demo system from one of the UK specialists, along with some used speakers) but have a few questions that ideally I'd like to understand the answer to, before I make the leap.

Firstly, does the 'music server' (our lenovo laptop) need to run specific software or do the files have to be saved in a specific format?

Secondly, we'd like to have 2 sets of B&O speakers running from the system (a pair in separate rooms), but it only seems to have output for 1 pair? Moreover, we'd like the speakers to be wireless to avoid cables everywhere. Can this be done? I've seen Beolink wireless components and Beolab1 transmitter/receivers, but don't really understand if they could be connected to the encore and if so, how it would be done. Your advice on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Matt
