Time to replace the batteries on the Beotime and I removed the end cap with the key and took the battery tray out . As I realised I had no batteries I put the tray back in without any . Now it's difficult to get the tray out. Anybody else found this or do I just lever it out without doing any damage ?

thanks

Now that you say it, yes it was hard to put the little black plastic tray back again.

I just pushed "hard" and everything is fine (done it three times in four years).

Reassuring then, as it seems difficult without the batteries. It might be worth a bit of pressure getting it out ?

Its a tight fit for sure. I found it harder to get back in than out.

Guess you will just have to tease it out.  When inserting the battery pack push gently until it resists then pull it back a little bit and turn it and try again.

Yes. I seriously thought I was going to break the battery holder pushing it in but it was a bit easier when I decoded the orientation diagram .
