Hi all I'm new here. I inherited this model some years ago, and it served me well up until recently.( Fantastic sound) Now it seems to be running about 4 seconds slow and has developed a click like something is catching when the turntable begins to move on start up. The speed knob doesn't appear to be very precise, and if I "fiddle" a bit with this, I can get the "click" to stop. But if I switch the beogram off, the click is back the next day. I wondering if its the belt or motor. would be very grateful on how to proceed. Dleonskie

Re the post: Beogram1500 speed control knob.

I have resolved this problem purely through process of elimination, It turned out that the both the speed changing knob and the fine adjustment screw that sit's on top of it, needed adjustment. I got them both in sync and that seems to have solved it. At moment it is running sweet. Thanks for any help that might have been offered.
