Hello all,
I just acquired a new Beosystem 4 and a used IR eye that will be used with 3rd party oled screen.
I have a Beoremote One currently paired with an Avant 55. I will be getting another remote for this system but I’d like to test it right away...
Could you let me know how to go about this?
Thank you very much!
Hi and welcome,
would be nice to know which version of the Avant/which version of the BROne, you have.....before answering.

So, as I see it, you have the first generation Avant and a first generation Beoremote One.
Both are ir products (as is the BSys4 with the ir eye).
You don’t ‘pair’ these remotes.......that is a bluetooth thing.
The later/current BROne has bluetooth (as well as ir) possibilities - and must be ‘paired’, if used with a bluetooth based product/tv.
Start reading the user guide for the remote (especially from page 13 and on)

If you still have questions, feel free to ask again.
In the settings menu of the BeoSystem 4 it can either be set to receive signals as a "BeoVision" or as a Beo4/Beo5/Beo6 device. Therefore, you could try the "BeoVision" setting in the BeoRemote One or the "Beo4 Video" setting in the BeoRemote One. I prefer the "BeoVision" setting.
Excellent! I will try sometime later this week. Thanks a lot,
It works! Thank you very much for your help guys.
Take care and stay safe.
Cheers,
