Hi,

I have been following this forum for a while and finally I have a real question:
I have Beomaster 4500, Beogram 9500 and Beolink 1000. BM 4500 works well with the remote control but BeoGram 9500 does not react to it at all.
While checking the Beograms service manual I noticed that the Data Link control comes with the BeoMasters RIAA amplifier to DIN connectors pin number 7 and without RIAA amplification to the pin 6. Would it work if I simply transfer the Data Link to pin number 7?

Hi Esko,

the Datalink should work with the pin in either position 6 or 7 according to past posts.  You can transfer the pin and see if it works though.  Don't lose the pin.  It's easy to do!  More often than not, the pins 6 and 7 are either both there are both missing.  If you only have 1 pin, try swapping it over.

Welcome to Beoworld by the way.

Dave.

Have you modified anything of this, or are you using an external RIAA?

The BM4500 does not have RIAA, nor does the BG9500.

Thanks, Dave

The switch pin 6 and 7 together. Now works.

I use external RIAA pre-amp
