Dear friends of Beoworld!

Now the new Avant 75 will be available soon - are there any news about updates or changes in comparison to the first roll out?
I'm asking remembering the "Avant Thread" where things like "picture quality", "HDMI-Input" or "HEVC" have been discussed!

Is there still only one HDMI input capable 4k?
Is someone of you already streaming 4k content via netflix or any other platform to ones BV Avant?
Have there been changes on some so called bugs regarding automatic picture control?

thanks and best regards
Elmar

Hi

1-5 HDMI's support UHD 30fps today.2-6 has hdmi version 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 and

HDMI 1 has HDCP 2.2. HDMI version 1.4

Via a firmware update later the HDMI 1-5 ports will support UHD 60p Big Smile (hdmi version 2.0)

HDMI 6 will remain version 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 and support 1080p i.e. Not UHD.

The must is HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.

But sources using the HDCP 2.2 are still very limited -

Hdcp is the copy protection that the contend provider use/activate.

HDCP version this the specification that is used (not the specific features in the supported).

(There is no HDMI 2.2)
