Hi,

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I have a Beosystem 7000 and would like a remote with a bit more functionality than the Beolink100.

Ive had a bad experience with a Beolink 7000 that only had one way functionality, so wanted to know if the Master Control Panel from the 6500 series is compatible?

These are 100% compatible, but if a Beolink 7000 didn't work in two way mode, the fault may just as well be in your Beomaster.

EDIT: just to add: if the problem was "no contact" on the screen of the Beolink 7000 but it worked otherwise as a one-way remote, it is far more likely that the problem was in the Beolink.

Hi,

Thank you. Invaluable advice as always! The problem with the Beolink 7000 was indeed a 'no contact' error on the Beolink screen.

As with other buyers, I think I fell foul of someone selling something on eBay that they knew the value of, but not what it was actually meant to do!

Just need to find a 6500 unit for sale now!
