Hi

BS2/BV4 were bought in 2006 so I even suspected 'Vintage' was a place for me to ask for help...)

The turntable has a cord with 2 x RCA pins. Straightforward solution seemed to use RCA sockets (for video camera) at BS2 and nominating such connection in respective menu. BS2 'sees' the turntable then but the sound is lousy - as if it is a mobile phone playing...

Most likely, some ML converter is needed but I would like to know for sure before buying it. Sent a request to the store in Kolding where the hardware was bought many years ago but the guys are silent.

Another thing is Apple TV. BS2 does not have HDMi socket. Ok, some HDMi/SCART converters could be ordered. But looking through similar topic in archive (some participant was trying to connect AppleTV to BV7?) I have learnt that it might be a bit more than just a HDMi/SCART thing...

Possibly somebody could help? Actually, BS2/BV4 is the 'link room', 'main room' is BV5 (bought even earlier - 2004 or 2005) and connecting Apple TV there might be better as the video could possibly be distributed around the house (or not?), and the procedures might be similar.

Many thanks in advance.

You will need to get phono amp for your tt, if it sounds low like you describe

But it may be another fault.

What tt is it?

What speakers?

Beovision 7 40 mk 5 ,beovision 6x3,   beosound 3000, beogram 3300 , 2 x lc2, 2 x beocom 1401, beocom 6000 x 2,  5 x beo4,

, 4 x beolab 4's, form 2, h2, a2,a1 and a beolab 2 😀😀

Thanks yours.

TT is Edwards Audio Apprentice Lite, speakers BL8000.

Talked today with local ex-dealer (the store existed for some time and was closed down after 2008). He also says I need to get pre-amp, and not e.g. ML Converter...
