Hello,

now I have a Technisat Digicorder S2 on my Beovision 6. I can use the Beo4 to control the Box over the IR-Blaster. The Problem is: the Box needs too long to start up. So the BV6 switches back to stand by and I must press the SAT button twice. Is it possible to tell the BV6 to wait for the signal? It is connected via scart.

Thanks

I use a Technstar box with my BC6 and it starts up much faster than my Humax STB.  I did notice that in the TechniStar 'Settings' 'Basic Settings' menu there is a 'Quickstart' option - perhaps you could enable this to get rid of the problem - although it will use more power when in standby.  Mine actually starts fast enough without this enabled, but it could be worth a try for you.

I have a BC6 connected to a Humax Freesat box using an IR-Blaster. That also has a pretty slow start up but presents no problem via the SCART connection. I'm puzzled your TV goes back to standby as on mine it will hold the selected connection (DVD or SAT) indefinitely - you can set the STB to follow the TV but not the other way around. Are there any power saving features on the BV6 you may have missed?
