Are the top covers identical?

I have both units, and I am wondering to change the tops in order to use the BM7000 with the rest of the 5500 units.

As far as I am aware Leo they are identical yes!

Sweet. Now the only problem will be to sell the rest of the 7000 system with a bm5500 in discuise.
