Hi

Can anyone recommend one for iPad, which is suitable for a B&O 5.1 system?

I've used AudioTools by Studio Six Digital on both my iPhone and iPad for about three or four years now with good results. It has a lot of basic functionality, plus a lot more you can buy as add ins as needed. I found the iPhone with it very useful when I was in the field doing SPL measurements and also needed to do rough frequency plots. I never needed to get the calibrated mic attachment as the iPhone mic was accurate enough, especially after I calibrated the SPL meter to the reference one we had.

The basic package includes a freq generator, an SPL meter, a spectrum analyzer, and some other useful things. The audio guy I worked with who did the sound setups for the training ranges had bought some more of the functions and the outboard mic, but I doubt you'd need that.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
