A8, connection to an external device.

 

Hi all,

Im trying to connect my A8 to my tv with its Twin Phono (RCA) AUX Line input sockets, ( I did at one time have it connected,then we had a power cut and the sound is so low now it's louder on the TV, without it being connected.) ive followed the instructions of switching the wi-fi connection off then from what I understand the AUX inputs should take priority..... But no luck.......WHAT am o doing wrong.????, ALL HELP GREATLY APPRICIATED.

are you trying from the television the RCA connectors that are marked "audio out"?

Some televisions when using audio out you have to do something special in the menu of your television to enable it

I had the BS8 and it also had the priority mechanism, but if i used the RCA connectors i just made sure there was no ipod docked and it was ok.

I'm a thick sod, the volume on the A8 was turned down, after upping it, the sound is fantastic
