So, it has taken me about a year to get everything the way I wanted it.

Many of my frustrations were caused by trying to mix a non-B&O TV and using brand new wireless technology. It required lots of work arounds - but in the end it looks perfect and sounds perfect.

Beolab 18 , Beolab 19, Definitive Technology Center, Marantz AV Receiver, Beolab 15 - ceiling mounted for 5.1 surround sound.

The one missing piece was to find the perfect media cabinet match for my Beolab 18 (oak) speakers which are wall mounted - well we found it:

BDI - CORRIDOR - light oak color

It looks as if it was made by the same designer and in the same material.

It is purpose made with great ventilation, removable and movable rear panels, wheels to move it and storage for media like CD's.

It looks a nice piece of furniture - as it should for the price!  A nice picture of yours in-situ would be nice.

Dave.

I tried to but I must be technically inept or not understand.

I have a nice photo in my library but I got a message that the file is too large for the forum,

Any ideas how to solve that?

I find it easier to upload the picture to Photobucket then when you open the picture in Photobucket, just click on the Direct URL shown on the right hand side which copies the URL (it flashes yellow and says 'copied').  When posting on Beoworld, to enter the picture, click on the 'insert media' tab, choose to insert media from a URL, paste the copied URL into the URL box, change the size to approx 800 x 760 and click 'insert'.  You cannot move the picture in Photobucket if you do this otherwise the link to the picture is lost.  There are other ways but that always works best for me.

Dave.

Very nice! The cabinet is a wonderful match for the BL 18s.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

As I said, a lovely piece of furniture and a fantastic match to your speakers.

Nice cabinet Yes - thumbs up

But how do you get on without a center speaker in your setup?

Don't you miss that - or do you have something hidden in the cabinet?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

The center speaker ( Definitive Technology) is inside the cabinet - see photo.

Because the slots are totally open there is no obstacle to the sound.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! That looks wonderful, and it looks really practical to boot. You should be an interior designer.
