Hi all

I have bought some earset 3i for my business trips to watch films on the plane.

Does anyone know what I need to buy if anything to be able to connect these to a plane screen.

Normally the free ones they hand out have two prongs and I think a normal headphone socket

Does it matter that the 3i's have the extra connection for microphone too?

Cheers all

On the plane they use a special audio outlet which sends one channel through each of the two jacks. If you connect your 3i to one of these you will only receive one channel (not stereo). Some airlines give out free adapters (usually together with their free headphones). These adapters can also be bought cheaply online or in audiostores. The microphone on the headphones will not affect anything and will obviously not work.

Hope this helps.
