So I've read forums about Beolabs being converted from 220v down to 110v but is it hard to do the other way around?  Moving to Europe from the USA next year and have several Beolab 3s, 6000s, 8000s, a 7.1 center.   Wondering what is worthwhile keeping vs selling here.  I'm guessing the 6000s and 8000s aren't worth the trouble.  Would I have to use a step up transformer at each speaker or can a dealer modify?

THanks!

Where in Europe are you moving?

I would sell it and buy new in Europe. The units you have can be bought fairly cheap here.

You can get the Beolab 7.1, 6000 and 8000 for a total of 1000€

The Beolab 3 will set you back anything from 600-1000€ for a pair.

Thanks for the note it sounds like shipping and any mods/transformers wouldn't be worth the trouble.

Moving to Germany.  The USA is going downhill fast so....time to exit!

Then you can go bonkers on the second-hand market in Denmark.

If I were you, I'd sell them and just buy them locally when you're there. B&O in North America are rare and exotic, in EU (esp for those models) are commonly found second-hand.
