I believe he is aware of that one Dave but looking for a cheaper example?

At least that is what I interpret this thread to mean

Ben

This is the problem of posting the same thing over multiple threads!  I don't read everything so missed that one until later.  Cheaper, non-guaranteed examples (plus shipping) may be available but as he only paid £33 for the BM6000 I don't think it's unreasonable to pay a bit more for an excellent remote.  Used ones are an unknown quantity, corroded battery sections, faulty buttons etc.  If he's expecting someone to almost give away a remote I also think that's unreasonable.  The market price for some remotes is quite high due to limited availability.  Hence I think the good offer from Lifestyle AV - I'm tempted by that one even though I don't really need it.

Dave.

I am very sorry if I have upset anyone. My question on the vintage forum was whether the Beomaster Terminal remotes are rare. The question here was if someone has one for sale. If £99 is the going rate for these, then I so be it, but it is a bit too expensive for me (I don't even know if the IR receiver board in my BM6000 is working). I am asking to buy one, not for a gift. One with corroded battery terminals might suit me well if it is fixable and less expensive. Fixing these old bits of kit and returning them to their glory is a big part of the fun.

Sir,

I have this one. Very good condition except for the missing battery lid.

Please, tell me your zip code and I will give you a good price, including the shipping cost.

You haven't upset anyone don't worry!

Fixing them is all part of the fun and we would love to know how you get on with that on this forum, the offer above seems a very good one to me!

Dear Dic|<,

The remote safely arrived in UK. I replaced 9V battery clip and 3D printed a new battery cover. The IR receiver in my BM6000 was working and so I now have remote control - yippee!

Thank you for your help.

Nigel.
