Hello,

This is my first post in this forum and I hope all of you are safe and Ok.

Here is my question :

I have a couple of Beogram 8000 and 8002 (2 of each) for the French market. At that time, almost 40 years ago, the power supply was 220V.

Now we are 230v.

I would like to know if it is possible to switch the input of the transformer from 220v to 240v for example, using a wire between 2 pins?

Thanks you for your help

The short answer is no.
Mains voltage is set by replacing the transformer plug-in module.
There are dedicated modules for different mains voltages and mains frequencies, a total of seven different modules.

Having said that, tolerances are fairly wide (10% or more). You can keep using the 220V module, even if your mains should reach 240V, without worries.

The official voltage in Europe is 220/240, you don't have to change anything.
