Hi, I acquired this system from my neighbour recently. I know nothing about it, but have all the manuals. I plugged it in, and after several attenpts at pushing buttons on the remote, and console, got a CD to play. Since then I cannot repeat the exercise! The CD spins twice when pressing 'cd', but then stops. I have no idea if it has suddenly failed, or I am doing something wrong. Any advice would be useful, as it seems to be a lovely bit of kit. (yes I have switched it off and on again). Radio works ok.
The neighbour was very elderly and I doubt it has had much use in the last few years,, it seems that it was made nearly 20 years ago, so maybe its had it (anyone fix these things??)
