So I recently moved into a new house where they had some speakers and wall controls pre-installed throughout the house as well as a passive link in another room.  I found the masterlink cable connected to the Beolink Passive and tracked it through the walls where it actually went to the entertainment center.  This cable is just cut right there at the entertainment center.

What do I need to get this system up and operational?  I'm trying to connect my TV to the surround system but I don't know what is all needed.

I just have a Samsung 52" flat panel TV.  Model is LNT5265FX/XAA.  I'm not sure of the exact speaker models because they are mounted in the wall but none of the speakers are free standing and they are all B & O

You're Lucky Buyer, you can just go to B&O website to find out what Speakers they are. I don't think anybody can help you without knowing the Speakers you've in the House. Good Luck.

I'm not sure why the speakers would actually matter since they connect to the Beolink Passive no?  2 of the speakers appear to be BeoLab 4000 speakers from what I can tell.

Could you provide more details?

Can you localize all the cables for these speakers/where are they/do they all run from one place (...'to the entertainment center').

If possible, please post some pics of what you have/you see.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Only 1 cable (the masterlink cable) runs down to the entertainment center).  All the other wires run through the walls and appear to go up to the Beolink Passive which is in my master bedroom.

So a masterlink audio system would be enough to bring audio to all the speakers, use the aux in if you wish to connect your tv to system.

Thank you for that.  That helps a lot.  What do I do with the cut masterlink cable?  Do they sell a junction box and masterlink cable to be able to attach a new end to the existing cable?

Or even maybe, God forbid, a B&O dealer who could also provide professional advice for your situation.

Agree. Possibly the nearest dealer knows all details because he installed it. Much better then us guessing without having any info at all. Just visit a dealer and request advice.
