Hi Eric

Just remember that they can be connected to a TV too, so what is your purpose for buying them ie audio/music, surround sound etc?

Great speakers by the wayYes - thumbs up

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Hi.

Do you already own any other B&O equipment , particularly something with power link connections? Most B&O kit from the early 90,s onwards have this including, as Chris says, the televisions.  If not you will need an amplifier with with pre amp line out connections. Did the speakers come with cables? You need either power link cables for B&O kit or line signal cable for non B&O. Recommend you contact Sounds Heavenly on this site for further advice regarding cables. I expect you have already noticed the switch at the back of the speakers to select left, right or line signal.

Graeme.

As mentioned already, you presumably bought them with some plan in mind? Connection to a TV, or for just an audio system? If for an audio only source, what media do you want to use - CD, tuner, tapes, vinyl, digital sources, streaming etc? Answering this will help get you the best advice.

There are a multitude of systems you could use with these speakers from Beosounds to Beocenters such as Beosound 9000, Beocenter stacking systems such as the Beocenter 6500 or 7000 type systems, or the more stand-alone units such as the Beomaster 6000 and 8000 systems. If you search the forum section via the 'main site' and then the 'products' section you can view the different types of systems that have the Powerlink connections to your speakers.
