Nearly every time I post something I get a Server error/time out, When posting a reply or a new thread after a minute comes the message, Server error and 1 page gobbylygook , I then have to leave the forum and go in again, my post is there but this starts to be quite annoying

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Hej Søren,

That indeed is annoying - I have gotten used to the 'routine', however.

i guess the admins know about it, and are working to fix it.

Yes, but it is still virtually impossible to post a photo.

I hope admin gets "all over this" and fixes the problem. Smile

Hi Jacques,

I get this message every time too, even for a three word text message. This isn’t amusing anymore. No - thumbs down

Jeff

P.S. Although email notification seemed to work in your case, my last 8 postings have not had a notification. Weird, huh? Embarrassed

Please be informed that the timeouts many of you are seeing are due to a very large number of requests (DOS) being received from someone somewhere.

Once I have established where they are coming from I will be blocking them and I will also be taking the precaution of rebooting the server in the coming hour.

We would like to offer our apologies to members for the disruption to the service.

Regards Keith....

I can confirm that the system is back up and running and I will be reviewing the log files to see who exactly has been attacking us.

Did the attacks come out of devil's k.tch.n store? Or are these two different kinds of nuisances?

Thanks to all moderators!
