Beosound 3

Hi, I have a faulty Beosound 3 bought on ebay.  The seller had no power supply for it.  On examining it I took the bottom off and found that the power connector on the circuit board was in a poor state.  Green corrosion all over it.

I have managed to get a replacement printed circuit board and have bought a 15v non b&o power adaptor.  Before I plug it in I need to be sure that the polarity of the power adaptor is correct.  Does anyone know for sure what the correct polarity is?

Im not sure what polarity means but the manual says 

Input =100-240VAC / 47-63Hz / 1.5A

By polarity, I guess he Means what is + / - .

But I'm sorry  - I can't help with this. I'm sure that some Fellow Beoworlders can. Good luck with your Beosound 3.

Hi, I need to know which pin on the power adaptor is positive i.e. is the outer ring of the connector the positive or negative terminal.
