Dear all,
I'm sure that there must be a list of the latest version for various beovision models somewhere, but I seem to be unable to find it. Apologies if this info is readily available, but I have a beocenter 6-26 running AP SW 9.5 and wanted to check if there is a more recent version out there? It seems my set will not respond to the navigation buttons on my new beoremote one. My old beo4s are of the pre central 'navi' controller type and just have a 'go' button; I assume a more recent software version would support the 'navi' functions and therefore the beoremote one navigation keys (at least that is my impression from the beoremote one manual where it shows the beo4 key mapping). Many thanks for any help and advice
Luke

Dear Räuber, many thanks for the reply; I accidentally put BC2 rather than BC6 in the subject, but from your previous reply it sounds like it will not work with my setup. I'll see if I can work around with my Lintronic box, but looks like I'll be returning the BR1. Shame as I really like it!
Hey Luke
Before you return the BR1 do this on the remote:
LIST > Settings > Advanced > Products > Show > Beo4 Video
This will make the BR1 work as a Beo4 when selected in LIST
BeoVision 11-55, BeoCenter 2, BeoLab 9s, BeoLab 3s, Beo4/5/6, BeoRemote One, BLGW, Transmitter 1, BeoLit 12, A8, H6, H8
Before returning the remote, try this (on remote):
Now under LIST you have the Beo4 option and the remote will work as a Beo4 (don't know if the navi buttons work correctly as it's working as the navi Beo4)
The latest software for your BV6-26 is 10.11a released March 2011 so well before the navi button feature
Oh and here's the official B&O response to using BR1 with older products:
Kallasr, the latest software for BS3 is 1112 - The BS3 will support navi button after software update.
HardCopy: BeoRemote One is compatible with the Beo 4 remote in general, with some exceptions. BeoRemote One is optimis ed for TV’s that support the navigation button. For older TV’s that do not support the navigation button, menu navigation must be done using P+ for UP, P- for DOWN, long press on BACK for stepping back and PLAY to select.
HardCopy:Products in Option 4 - for instance an extra television or audio system in the main room - must be operated using the " Beo4 Link " control instead. This is similar to the latest ve rsion of Beo 4.
Hey everyone- thanks for all your help. I spoke to my local B&O service engineer and it appears I can get a software update on the beocenter 6-26 for use of the most recent beo4 or beoremote one. For reference the type number of mine is 9282. I'll report back when the upgrade is complete!
