Good evening,
This is to confirm that there is indeed a message that warns that the batteries are low on the Beotime clock (the "flute", not the wall clock).
Some owners posted here that their Beotime clock stopped working or producing alarm without warning when the batteries were exhausted. Perhaps the firmware has been upgraded over time.
I bought mine a few years ago at a discounted price and it was probably one of the last manufactured.
Best regards,
Jean
Interesting!
My Beotime was on a shelf and not in regular use as an alarm. I noticed that the display had gone off and was horrified to find that one of the Duracell batteries had corroded and leaked. Thankfully all that was needed was a careful clean-out using silicone WD40 and a set of new batteries.
i wonder how long the low battery warning is actually displayed?

BeoGreg: vikinger: i wonder how long the low battery warning is actually displayed? Graham It says somewhere it's a week. Never tried, immediatly changed the batteries, the beotime is my everyday wake up machine.

We use ours and it didn't display "low battery" but it was obvious they were needed. Very fiddly removal procedure .
