Hello!

I'm trying to get a temporary solution to a problem I've encountered and I need to know the polarity for the Beocom 2 desk dock charging pins.

If anyone here could measure theirs with a multimeter and help me by telling me which pin is the positive (+) with the phone facing you, the front one or the back one?

I don't have a working desk dock / charger or multimeter handy to do the measurement myself.

Thank you!

Negative is facing you (keyboard side of the phone.)  As you probably know, it just uses the two end contacts, the middle contact on the phone is for S/W flashing.

Thank you! Yes, I know the middle pin is for flashing, just didn't know which one was the negative and which was the positive.
I have no way of getting a dock now so not wanting to leave the battery discharged for a long time I thought to use something similar with a 5.4 V supply to try to 'emulate' the charger until I get a replacement. Hope it doesn't have any kind of magnetic switches or anything like that that would make charging more difficult. That's why I asked, since I didn't want to just try blindly and then have blue smoke. :)

I'll try it out. Thanks again!
