Beosound 1 problem

Since a couple of days my Beosound 1 has a problem.

During my holiday the unit was a couple of weeks without power.
After the holiday I powered up the unit, entered the PIN and turned on the radio.
Everything worked fine for a couple of minutes.
After that a loud "tick" from the speakers and nothing. Even red dot was gone.

Removed unit from mains power, waited for a while, plugged unit in again. Unit plays again for some minutes and again one or two sharp and loud "ticks".

No fault codes are stored in the memory.

Any known issues with the Beosound 1? Anything to look at or repair in special?
