Hello,

I have a BM7000 with 2 pairs of beovox, is there a way to mute speaker 1 or speaker 2 via the beo4 ?

I search around, but found nothing helpful.

thanks

Speakers connected to the Speaker 1 -output can be muted by pressing MUTE on remote (on Beo4: press the middle between vol up and down- buttons), or by pressing MUTE on the front panel of the BM.

Thanks, but Is there a possibility to mute either speaker 1 or speaker 2 ?

Depending ln the situation, I want music in the kitchen and not in children playroom, or the other way round, not in the kitchen but in the playroom ?

Using only what the Beomaster itself has, the answer is a definite no - speaker 2 will play always.

You need to set up an MCL link system in the other room if you want to control those speakers separately.

Yes, just add an MCL2A (Extra Speaker Kit) to your BS7000, and you can mute both rooms separately. It is also possible to control the BS7000 from both rooms and set a Timerplay or a System Standby...

Ok, thanks to all of you.

I just added a pair of beovox 3000 to my system last saturday, I will have to install the xtra speaker kit I have somewhere in the basement, the one I bought last year, and that I never succeeded to install.
