Hi Guys,

You may have seen my recent post on the glass in my Beocord 9000 been incorrect. It turns out it must have been changed at some point with the glass from a Beocord 800x.

It all fits perfectly and looking at the back side of the glass all the cutouts are correct, the only issue is it has different writing blanks in the black backing. Where mines says REC OPEN it should say REC CAL and where it should say TIME CAL its blank.

How is the lettering put onto the glass? I'm wondering if I could change it?

Thoughts?

I would think the only successful way would be if you could somehow remove the metal housing from the back of the glass, then a good printers should be able to reproduce it.

I can't see another way to make it look right, I've got a tiny chip in the corner of my glass so if you manage it let me know, but I'd rather you test it on yours first😂
